SURVIVR CEO Brian Hoang has always understood the power of virtual reality. As a software engineering student at The University of Texas at Dallas, Hoang started a small production studio for virtual reality content. Through his virtual reality development agency, Immosis, Hoang met a retired first responder and invited him to the studio. The interaction opened Hoang’s eyes to the potential value of VR in first responder training. Today, his platform, SURVIVR, offers a one-of kind first responder simulation training experience without the cost, scheduling delays, and safety risk associated with other training scenarios.

Hoang’s vision and tenacity have taken him through programs and opportunities made available via the Blackstone LaunchPad & Techstars network, Startup Grind, and Techstars Austin Accelerator. You can read more about him and SURVIVR on Startup Grind.
